OneDigital Health Acquires Irvine-based Moore Benefits
Employee benefits/HR company OneDigital Health and Benefits announced it has acquired Irvine-based Moore Benefits. The acquisition enhances the OneDigital footprint within the Southern California market and adds to the overall company growth. Moore Benefits has been serving clients throughout California for over 15 years with services spanning across benefits, compliance and wellness. Now that Moore has joined up with OneDigital, clients will have access to expert teams from across a deeper bench to bring benefits, HR and tech to employers.

Anthem Announces MA Plan Enhancements
Anthem Blue Cross is enhancing the wellness services offered in many of the company’s 2020 Medicare Advantage plans. Anthem will give its members access to wellness services, including nutritional support, in-home support, respite care, and pest control.
Cigna to Offer MA Plans Some Places, But Not Here
Cigna announced that it will be offering Medicare Advantage in 17 states next year, including its first MA preferred provider organization plans in 43 counties and its existing health maintenance organization plans in 37 counties. But don’t get your hopes up for California. States include Alabama, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. We’ll keep you posted if we hear anything about Cal.

MassMutual Appoints Golson Nunery Head of Consult Relations
MassMutual announced that Gina Golson Nunery has been appointed head of consultant relations for Workplace Solutions. Golson Nunery is responsible for developing and enhancing relationships nationwide with retirement consulting firms that serve corporate, Taft-Hartley, government, multiple-employer and not-for-profit plans. She reports to Una Morabito, Head of Client Management for MassMutual’s Workplace Solutions.
