2023-24 CAHIP President Profile Get to know Tim Kanter

Tim Kanter has worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years, including work in underwriting, customer service, and sales with major insurance carriers and general agents. From this experience, Tim gained a unique perspective when it comes to finding answers and products that will work best for both his agency and his clients.

When Tim started his agency 16 years ago, he began a journey of discovery. From meeting knowledgeable, caring people and building strong relationships, Tim learned the value of mentors and colleagues. He discovered the importance of active involvement in the industry through local, state and national professional associations. This led him to where he is today — serving as the president of California Agents and Health Insurance Professionals (CAHIP).
